Actress Yvonne Jegede has shared her experience from working on a movie set in Uganda, amid the controversy ignited by the arrest of Nigerian singers Omah Lay and Tems in the country.
The actress who recalled being labelled proud after she said she doesn’t know any Ugandan artiste, stated that their self esteem issues, have nothing to do with Nigerians.
Yvonne tweeted;
I was in #Uganda in 2013 to shoot a film, after every sentence came “you Nigerians are very proud”, even when I said I didn’t know any Ugandan artist I was labeled proud. I am proud of where I come from, your self esteem issues has nothing to with Nigerians.
